It is not possible for current spring campus apartment residents who wish to take a Mayterm class to remain in the apartment after the official end of the spring semester. There will be various summer conference groups using the apartments after the spring and for the duration of the summer. However, once registered in a Mayterm class, a temporary Mayterm room in Clark Hall may be requested via the Mayterm application in eRez. There is an associated room fee of $150 to remain for 3 week Mayterm period past the official end of the annual housing contract. There is no food service during Mayterm. The Mayterm housing application must be made from within the eRezLife housing program and is available until May 1st.
Spring apartment residents are expected to follow normal check out procedures from the apartment at the end of the spring when relocating to Clark Hall for Mayterm. Failure to complete the proper check-out process WILL result in a $75 'improper check-out' fine.
The main site includes the new Mayterm fee structure for the additional 3 weeks past the official end of the annual hall contract. Clark Hall is the only hall open during Mayterm immediately after the spring semester campus residential closing and will house only residents officially registered for a Mayterm class and who apply for paid Mayterm housing in eRez. The application will be available until May 1st. The housing fee for Mayterm is $150 but does not include food service.
However, unless you are a current resident in Clark Hall you WILL be required to move immediately after spring hall closing as the remaining halls and apartments will close that same weekend. Traditional hall applicants will later receive an email with the relocation details of the temporary Mayterm room assignment. Clark Hall residents who successfully register and apply for Mayterm housing will receive an email regarding swipe access. Please note the Mayterm tuition pricing structure announced elsewhere on the UD site.
Campus Housing is not offered after Mayterm since continuing student summer classes are entirely online for summer 2024. Separate accommodations are being made for incoming freshmen summer programs such as the O'Hara and Constantin Scholars program required to live on campus.
