If you graduated within the past year, you can schedule an appointment with a career advisor to get personalized support in your career journey. Whether you need help strategizing your job search, revising key career documents like a resume, CV, cover letter, or e-portfolio, or setting career goals with a concrete action plan, we're here to assist you every step of the way. Job Search Resources
Handshake
Handshake serves as UD's primary platform for linking alumni with employer job postings and also provides a space for employers to promote their upcoming recruitment webinars and on-campus recruiting events.
How to log in to Handshake: If you graduated after 2018, you already have a Handshake account. For those who graduated before 2018, you'll need to register for an account.
Registering a Handshake account:
- Go to udallas.joinhandshake.com.
- Click “No account? Sign up here” in the top righthand corner.
- Choose Student/Alumni. Make sure University of Dallas is the school selected.
- In the email address field, enter your personal email (does not have to be an @udallas email) and you will be asked to enter your name, graduation date and student ID number.
- You will receive an email from Handshake with instructions to confirm your account.
