Consent to Release Education Records (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of students' education records. Transact Pay for Parents

Transact Pay is the University of Dallas online payment portal where parents can view account balances, make payments, enroll in payment plans, and access billing statements and 1098-T tax forms.

Payment Options

• In Person: Cash or check
• By Mail: Check
• Online via Transact Pay: Electronic check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover

Parent Access Setup

Before accessing a student's account, the student must create a Parent PIN in Transact Pay.

Student Steps

1. Log in to Transact Pay through BannerWeb.
2. Select Parent PINs and click Add New.
3. Enter parent information.
4. The parent will receive an email with login credentials.

Parent Steps

1. Log in to Transact Pay using the credentials provided.
2. Reset the temporary password.
3. Access account details, payments, statements, and payment plans.

Enroll in a Payment Plan

1. Log in to Transact Pay.
2. Select Installment Payment Plans.
3. Choose the appropriate plan and follow the enrollment prompts.
   Note: Only students can create or reset parent login credentials.
