Texas Residency Form Submitted

Thank you for submitting the Texas Residency Form to our office, but you are not done!  

Based on your answers, we require that you also complete the accompanying affidavit.  It must be notarized, and the original document sent to or dropped by our office in Carpenter Hall.  Please let us know if you have any questions about the form.  

If we have any questions about what we received, we will contact you for additional information.  If you do not hear from us, we consider the form complete.

Renewability Requirements:

Awards depend on funding allocated by the State. To be considered for a Tuition Equalization Grant in the next academic year, however, you must:

1. Submit a completed FAFSA (or TASFA if you are an undocumented student) with demonstrated need, AND
2. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.500, AND
3. Have earned 24 hours between September and August of the previous academic year.

If you do NOT meet these requirements, you may qualify through applying for a TEG hardship. Appeal form is here . If you have questions, please contact your counselor .
