BannerWeb Instructions

BannerWeb for continuing students

How to log in and view your financial aid: For continuing students and incoming students who have already submitted their enrollment deposit and received a UD email address.

Prospective students who have not deposited, please see the set of instructions below these.

Logging in:

  1. Go to https://studentssb-prod.ec.udallas.edu/StudentSelfService/
  2. Sign into your account. Your username will be the first part of your UD email before @udallas.edu and your password will be your UD ID number beginning with 900. 

Viewing and accepting your financial aid:

  1. Click on the Financial Aid box.
  2. Click on Offer.
  3. You may review and accept your aid. When finished, please click “submit." In order to accept federal, state, and institutional aid, you must acknowledge the terms and conditions. Scholarships and grants have been accepted for you.

BannerWeb for prospective students

How to log in and view your financial aid: For admitted students who have not submitted their enrollment deposit.

Students who have not submitted their enrollment deposit will only be able to view their financial aid and will not be able to navigate to other sections of BannerWeb. It takes approximately 2-5 days after submission of your general enrollment deposit to receive access to the BannerWeb portal for enrolled students. If you have any problems logging into BannerWeb, please email support@udallas.edu.

Logging in and viewing your aid (use of private/incognito browser window is recommended):

  1. Go to https://studentssb-prod.ec.udallas.edu/StudentSelfService/login/auth
  2. If this is your first time logging in to BannerWeb, your nine-digit user ID/UD ID number beginning with 900 can be found on your admission letter or at the top right of your Applicant Status Page. Your Password/PIN is your birthdate in the following order: MMDDYY.
  3. Once logged in, click on the 'Financial Aid' tile under 'Aid and Accounts' section.
    This will open the Financial Aid dashboard in a new tab. 
  4. Click on the "Offer" tab to view your financial aid.

Once you log in, you will be prompted to change your Password/PIN. Please change your Password/PIN to something you will remember, as you will need to access BannerWeb frequently. After changing your Password/PIN, BannerWeb will ask you to complete a security question. Once the security question is answered, the main page will appear. If at any time you do not remember your Password, you can request it through the log-in page on BannerWeb.

Note: The 'Financial Aid' tile is the only tile applicable for prospective students. Financial aid details can be viewed as well as action can be taken on each item on the 'Offer' tab.

To upload documents to the Financial Aid office:

  1. Click on 'Financial Aid Documents' in the FInancial Aid "Home" tab
  2. Enter the Banner ID and Password/PIN again to login into secure document upload.
  3. Attach and upload all required documents. 
  4. Once done, it is highly recommended to logout from the application by clicking on the user icon on the top right corner and selecting 'Sign Out'.
  5. Close the browser tab.
