Crusader Promise

Automatic Admission for DFW Catholic High School Seniors

The Crusader Promise creates a direct pathway for local students to the University of Dallas. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is one of the fastest-growing urban centers in the country, and it’s home to a burgeoning Catholic population. Through the Crusader Promise, the University of Dallas strives to serve and collaborate with the Catholic schools and families within the Dallas and Fort Worth Dioceses.

In order to receive automatic admission to UD, students in Catholic schools within the Dallas and Fort Worth Dioceses will need to meet the following criteria:

  1.  Achieve an unweighted GPA of 3.75 or a 4.2 weighted GPA by the end of their junior year. (UD reserves the right to recalculate a non-standard weighted grade.)
  2. Score a 1250 on the SAT, a 28 on the ACT or a 94 on the CLT.
  3. Have no disciplinary record during high school.
  4. Submit an application for admission by March 1.
