Upon creation of the account on the Microsoft Office 365 portal, you will receive an automated email to your UD email account from the portal with the link and your credentials. Be sure to check your spam folder before you send another email. The link is valid for a short time.
Before you install Microsoft Office 365, you must make sure that all versions of Microsoft Office including trial versions are uninstalled. After installing Microsoft Office 365 if you are prompted to provide a product key it simply means you have another version installed on your computer. Uninstall the old version. The Office 365 version provided to you by the University of Dallas does not require a product key.
