Reset My Password

Systems that use your MyUD Login account:

System  
Active Directory/AD(network) or computer login UD Calendar
Wifi or UD Hotspot Online library databases
NetFacilities Banner (staff only)
Handshake FAST (staff only)
eRez EMS (staff only)

To Change Your Password (On Campus):

  • Faculty and Staff are required to change their MyUD Login password every 6 months.
  • Please bear in mind that the ONLY way to change the password is to be directly connected (wired) to the network.
  • Once you change your password, remember that will affect all of the above systems.
  • You cannot change your MyUD Login password through a wireless connection (Wifi).
  • In order to change the password, please use a Windows computer. Passwords cannot be changed from a Mac computer.
  1. Log into any Windows computer
  2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
  3. Select Change a Password
  4. Type in the old password and new password and confirm password
  5. Press Enter
  6. Log off and log back in with the new password.

Systems that require different usernames and passwords:

For library eReserves or other databases such as JSTOR, additional credentials are required. Please check with the library for those credentials. The IT department does not manage those credentials.

BannerWeb for Faculty and Staff

Your username will be the first part of your University email address before "@", and your password will be the same as signing into a computer on campus. If you have not logged into a computer on campus or have not changed your password, it will be your ID number. Please contact IT Support at support@udallas.edu if you are unable to log in

BannerWeb for Students

Your username will be the first part of your Univeristy Student email address before "@"  and your password will be the same as signing into a computer on campus. If you have not logged into a computer on campus or have not changed your password, it will be your student ID number. Please contact IT Support at support@udallas.edu if you are unable to log in

Brightspace
Username and Password sent to each student after enrollment in a class. Passwords can be changed by the user by following on-screen instructions. IT department cannot change passwords.
