My name is Yasamin Hadipour. I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and came to the United States to advance my education. The University of Dallas’s outstanding Cybersecurity Program and the increasing demand for Cybersecurity professionals aside from my passion led me to pursue a master’s degree in Cybersecurity. I was able to get an internship right after graduation through UD’s Career Center which helped me to get a jump start on the career I envisioned.

Trend Micro’s CPITS Internship program gave me hands-on cybersecurity skills through extensive training on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Trend Micro solutions. The internship was a great way to get a taste of a real professional experience. Today, I am working as a Digital Forensics and Incident Response engineer in a leading global financial institution, and I am truly grateful for every step of this journey.

What I really love about the University of Dallas is the incredible faculty members who are recognized leaders and scholars in the field. The faculty members collaborate with business leaders, which they leverage into opportunities for case studies, and guest speakers. From day one, I was able to interact closely with my professors and build my network in the field and get a broad perspective of cybersecurity trends.
