Drama Scholarships

Drama Departmental Scholarship - For Incoming Students

Amount: $1,000 - $5,000 Per Year
Eligibility: High School Seniors and Transfer Students
Application available: August 1
Deadline to apply:  December 1
Deadline to audition: December 15

Students who have applied to UDallas with an interest in studying Drama may compete for the award. Students are not necessarily required to major in Drama to receive or maintain the scholarship.

Scholarships for Currently Enrolled Students

Mike Dobbins Memorial Scholarship      

This scholarship may be awarded to a junior or senior Drama student who has shown academic distinction. The scholarship recipient(s) are chosen by the Chair of the Drama Department.  

Patrick & Judy Kelly Scholarship  

Endowed by Dr. Nancy Cain Marcus Robertson, MA ’00 PhD ’03 This scholarship was named in honor of Pat and Judy Kelly, two emeritus professors of drama at the University of Dallas. 

Timothy Andrew Sheridan Scholarship        

This scholarship is designated for students who have shown academic distinction in Theatre/Drama, this scholarship is designated to students at the University of Dallas with a major or concentration in Drama or who are involved in University Theatre.

To apply for the currently enrolled student scholarships, please complete all sections of this application and submit all required materials by August 31.
