Earn a digital badge by completing one of our Digital Badge Programs. These programs are designed to provide you with a useful set of tools, skills, and techniques to increase your marketability, and provide you with a digital badge you can share on your resume, and LinkedIn profile.
Digital Badge Programs
Our certificates are custom non-credit programs with a variable schedule dependent on the current Gupta College of Business schedule. You will work with the Center for Executive Education staff to develop your certificate plan. Pricing varies according to the certificate. Certificate in HR Management
Earn your HRCI certification and the skills needed as a human resource manager.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Class
Our PHR® & SPHR® Professional Certification course helps individuals with more than one-year of human resource professional-level experience. Classes are held at our Irving Campus with multiple evenings offerings, Saturdays, or online. Learn more about our PHR/SPHR Program.
The Effective Leader
Facilitates the development of interpersonal and team skills leaders need to function effectively. Focus is on the integrated behavioral competencies that organizations value today; self awareness, communication, collaboration, and relationship-building. Students will plan and implement new behaviors relevant to individuals who hold leadership positions, as well as those who informally assume leadership roles as they work with others to achieve business goals.
Foundations of Management & Strategy
Designed to provide a basic exploration of organizations in their environments and provide an introduction to the management process. The foundational tools of planning, organizing, directing and controlling are examined with an emphasis on the strategic management process.
Managing Complex Organizations
An employee-centered analysis of organizational value creation through the leadership of human resources. The intersection of organizational theory, behavior, development and change serves as the context in which students are challenged to develop knowledge, skills and ability necessary to plan,evaluate, implement and improve human resource initiatives. Emphasis is placed on critically evaluating multi-dimensional value creation perspectives. Prerequisite: MANA 5F50
