Carol Mackiewicz graduated in 2007 with a BA in Art/Painting from the University of Dallas. In 2010, she received her MA in Art Therapy and Counseling from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM. She recently moved to Bullhead City, AZ to pursue her art therapy/counseling career with Mohave Mental Health Clinic which serves the Mohave County.

Carol's notes:
"My four years at the University of Dallas were the best I have had in my young adult life. The friends and memories are blessings from a generous universe. My education at UD prepared me for the real world, teaching me how to be tenacious, courageous, and true to myself. I don't refer to Beowulf or The Apology in daily or even monthly situations, but reading and discussing such qualities of the literature at UD provided life wisdom, especially for a person unsure of what to do post-UD. Furthermore, the art department offered me the opportunity to grow up! Such challenges and perseverance as I had never encountered, were a daily occurrence and I learned to navigate difficult yet rewarding waters. Attending UD was one of the best decisions I made in my life".
